WVI Dolphin Leadership + Mentorship Program
The WVI Dolphin Leadership + Mentorship Program provides underserved high school youth with the unique opportunity to be exposed to career opportunities and life skills training. Students attend four compelling after school modules that focus on STEM, job readiness training, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and more - then receive their WVI Dolphin Leadership + Mentorship Program graduation certificate. After graduating, our mentees receive support from our foundation and our extensive business network to help them obtain their first internships, jobs, and entrance into college or trade schools.
Partnership ecosystem:The foundation's collaboration with esteemed partners such as NYPD, Google Code Next, Brookhaven National Labs, National Grid, the NY Power Authority ( NYPA ) and others ensure that students are exposed to a wide array of career paths, including technology, law, law enforcement, HR, cybersecurity, AI, health care, clean energy, and more. These partnerships and our network of accomplished business volunteers help students understand necessary training, salary expectations and the evolving role of AI across industries, equipping them with practical knowledge and clear pathways to future success.
We inspire the fortunate to utilize their prestige, wealth, and power to "give back" and make a disproportionate impact on underserved youth and veterans.
Our end goal is to produce a growing network of diverse, service-oriented young leaders who, in turn, mentor others, become high-performing employees in the for-profit and/or non-profit sectors, and contribute to society as a whole.
